Located in the heart of downtown, the Main Beach is a half-mile stretch of sand split down the middle by Avila Beach Pier. This family beach is the perfect spot for swimming, surfing, body boarding, kayaking, boating, sunbathing, building bonfires, sailing, and catching some sun. In Port San Luis Harbor, beach lovers will find Fisherman's Beach for great swimming and body boarding and Olde Port Beach, famous for its bonfire pits.
